After all, our jewelry is made from 9K gold filled and not solid gold. The 9K gold filled jewelry belongs to fashion jewelry, not fine jewelry so please do not expect perfection. Gold filled jewelry will tarnish or discolor with time and usage.

• What are created rubies?

  Created rubies are rubies created in a lab environment. Today, technology exists that allows for many gemstones to be replicated in a laboratory. • What does 9ct gold mean?

  The carat (ct) tells you how may parts of gold and how many parts of other metal are in the gold alloy. Don't confuse this with the carat weight of diamonds and gemstones. One carat is one part of 24, or 41.66 parts of a thousand. So 9ct gold is 375 parts gold per thousand parts.
