Store FAQ

Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
We sure do! The only thing is that shipping will be a little higher, and you will probably have to wait a little longer, due to the wonders of international shipping.
-
How long will it take to receive my order?
Once shipped most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 12 weeks.

Oh no! My Dream catcher broke! What do I do now?
Sadly, just as with anything else in life, it happens. Thankfully for you, I understand it does, due to shipping incidents, a dog getting a hold of it, or some freak accident that you may not want to explain. As long as you pay for the shipping, you can send it back to me and I'll fix it for you, free of charge!

Do you use REAL fur and bones in your dream catchers?
I do, and I'll make sure to specify which catchers have the authentic animal pieces on it. I know not everyone is comfortable with real animal parts, and I want to make sure you're aware of what you're buying.
-
Eww! Why do you use those?!
Because I don't like to see animal products go to waste. What I purchase is recycled fur. This means that it's just laying around and doesn't have a purpose and will be thrown out. I'd rather use whatever I can get and honor that animal by making it 'alive' again in a sense, and live on in a piece of art rather than sitting in a landfill somewhere and decomposing.
-
Have you no shame? That was a living animal!
I didn't pay for the animal to be killed so I can use it, nor did I hunt and kill it myself. I feel that leaving the animal, or its parts, just laying around and doing nothing for itself or anyone is a bigger issue. We use leather, which is cow hides, for many things. This is along the lines of the same thing, except there's usually fur still attached. I assure you, I treat all animal parts and bones with the utmost respect.

Are your Dream catchers Authentic Native American catchers?
No, they are not, and I will never claim them to be. I have received tips and help from Natives on making them, however. A good hunk of what I buy and use came from Natives as well. I've even been given a compliment by an old Cherokee woman on what I've made, saying that they were colorful and beautiful.
Even with all that, they are not authentic Native made.
-
How long does it take to make these?
Anywhere from an hour to days, depending on size and how complicated they are. They don't look it, but they are quite a bit of work and require a lot of free time to make.
-
I want one in a certain color or style! Can you make it?
Sure! Please, feel free to message and ask me about custom orders. I'll do the best I can to match what you're asking for!
