Clay Dragon Corner was officially founded in 2018 (with this website getting created in 2019), but it started much earlier than that. In the very beginning, in 2012, I asked my Nana to take me to get some clay so I could make a few creations I made inspired by the book series "The Last Dragon Chronicles". I found so much joy making these little writing, potion, and wishing dragons that I decided I wanted to start making them for people. At first, they were made for friends' or relatives' birthdays, and for one special teacher each year throughout my middle school career.
As I got older, my skills continued to develop and I branched out from just these three kinds of dragons to include other types, mainly holiday or other sorts of themed dragons (think the 4 elements, Hogwarts houses, and such). And as I continued to develop the fine details needed to make the accessories for my dragons, many people in my life suggested that I look into selling them, or at least creating an Instagram to show them off to the world. So on May 14th, 2018, I created the account on Instagram and posted my first photo, and the rest is history!
Throughout these past few years, my skills and my business have grown rapidly. In my skills, I have expanded from my original strictly standing dragons to those with open wings, sleeping dragons, mini dragon scenes, holiday ornaments, and many different kinds of earrings. And on the business side, I have participated in many art fairs, hosted and been a part of multiple giveaways and contests through social media, done art trades with fellow creators, taken my art to the Artist Alley at conventions, been commissioned to make both single dragons as well as sets of them, and continued to include more and more detail and invest more time and care into the creatures I create.
This is the best job I could ever hope to have, and it's with support from those around me as well as those who purchase from me that I can continue to do what I love, so thank you for being here! <3

How do you make your dragons?
I make each dragon by hand using Sculpey oven bake polymer clay. Each one is unique and while I do sometimes make dragons that are similar to ones I've created before, I never make the same one twice! -
Can your dragons be displayed outside?
Yes! Polymer clay is weather resistant and waterproof, meaning it can be left outside in many different conditions. I would recommend not leaving your sculptures out in extreme heat or cold, however, to make sure that the pieces last as they are for as long as possible. -
Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Yes! However, due to delays in the postal service I have no way of knowing or guaranteeing when the package will actually arrive. If you are wanting something specific or would like to custom order a gift for a birthday/holiday, I would recommend reaching out to me and placing the order as soon as you can to ensure ample time for delivery. I will also send out a tracking number that you can use to see where your package is during transit, which will hopefully help with any issues during shipment. -
Do you take custom orders?
Yes! I have a listing in my shop for 5 custom slots, and when those are sold, customs will close for a little while as I finish the orders, but will reopen shortly after! Please allow 1-2 weeks for creation and shipping to take place! Any holiday customs MUST be ordered and approved by at least a month to a month and a half before, as holiday times are stressful and shipping is unstable right now! For example, Christmas customs must be ordered by November 20th at the latest. -
How long will it take to receive my order?
Once shipped most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service.
