BellaMonica Studios is an art and design studio featuring the independent works of Allanah Anderson, A M Anderson, artist. It is based on my collective creative background and named after my dance and performing art stage name, a character I created named BellaMonica.

My creative influences are the punk and underground of early 1980s, and traditional styles of art such as Cubist and Realist. Some of my background is also in the performing arts of Middle Eastern Dance and modern music.

The studio produces mainly in-house works for publishing in the areas of textiles, illustration, and jewelry. Textile patterning is an area of design that I began with in 2014 as a way to highlight fine quality products with my independent art works and illustrations. Stock images may be used and are licensed according to attribution if any for textile patterning designs or some constructs of graphic design. However most patterning designs are in-house produced by me.

The company was formed in 2010 after a series production of illustration and jewelry, much of which is now available on my current sales platform. I derive inspiration from nature and the works of early 20th century artists, Les Fauves, such as Paul Cezanne and Henri Matisse, and late mid 20th century performers of early punk and the underground. Their wild and unconventional approach to art and performance resonates with my inner creative sensibilities to the art of beauty in the imperfection.
As an aesthetic it is a difficult quality to successfully capture, but it in no way defines my dedication to product quality, customer service, or my business practice.
