About the artist: Stephanie Law's work is an exploration of mythology mixed with her personal symbolism. Her art journeys through surreal otherworlds, populated by dreamlike figures, masked creatures, and winged shadows. The fantastical permeates through the visions, and you get a sense that this is a world that underlies our own, when viewed with a desire for beauty and a shifted perception.
Growing up in California, Stephanie has been surrounded by the wealth of natural inspiration all around her. The twisting boughs of live oaks from the hills near her home insinuate themselves into her paintings. The chaos of Nature's wild growth, and conversely the beauty of decay, echo in the textures and fractal patterns of her work.
She began her illustration career working with many fantasy gaming companies. Early on, she did pieces for Wizards of the Coast in Magic: the Gathering and Forgotten Realms, as well as with Skotos Tech (Castle Marrach), White Wolf (Changeling), Alderac Entertainment (Legend of Five Rings), and Green Ronin (Blue Rose). She also worked with publishing companies LUNA Books,Tachyon Books and Palazzo Editions.

Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Certainly! Please keep in mind that there is no "economy" shipping option for packages weighing more than 4lbs (1.8kgs)-- we charge you only at our cost for shipments.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Once shipped, most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to reach their destination, depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 12 weeks.
How will you ship my artwork?
Within the USA, Red Dragonfly ships most smaller items via USPS Priority Mail. Some jewelry, very small prints, decorative items, art cards, photographs and such MAY be shipped via first class parcel to save on postage.
Larger framed prints and original paintings will most likely be shipped via FedEx ground, unless another method is more economical. Oversized paintings will be crated and shipped via freight line.
Shipments to destinations outside the USA will be sent via USPS first class parcel for shipments under 4lbs (1.8kg) and Priority Mail/FedEx for all others.
Can you pack art safely for shipment?
Yes. We have 30+ years experience in shipping works of art, including 15 years shipping blown glass.
I saw something in your gallery, but it's not in your online store? Can I still buy it online?
Yes, if you can give us a pretty good description and -- better yet-- also remember the artist's name, we can create a listing of the item for you in the online store, usually within a few hours.
