Is there really a difference with Hair Grades?

Grade 4A [AAAA]. Great quality hair minimal to no tangling and shedding. This hair can last 9-12 months with proper care.

How do I correctly measure my hair extensions?

Hair extensions are measured when straight. So if you order a wavy or curly style, the correct way to measure is to pull the hair straight.

What is Remy Hair?

The highest-quality extensions. Remy hair still possesses the cuticle layer, which is the outermost part of the hair strand; it resembles shingles on a roof. All Remy hair has the cuticle layer of the hair flowing in the same direction, flowing the way it would naturally. The cuticle layer is important when concerned with hair tangling, longevity of the use (up to one year), and how well the hair shines. When the cuticle layer is intact and lying flat, the hair is capable of reflecting light, so that the hair shines.

What is Virgin Hair?

Virgin Hair is hair that is unprocessed and comes in its natural color. All our extensions are made from Virgin Hair but some of the curls and waves are steam processed.

Does this shed or tangle?

We do not make false no shedding claims, All hair sheds. Our extensions have minimal shedding. There will be shedding when you first receive the hair and do your initial comb out and initial wash. After that the shedding is reduces. Another way to reduce shedding is to seal your wefts (although this is not mandatory). With proper maintenance, our hair extensions do not tangle.

How long do the hair extensions last?

Our hair extensions can last 6 months to 1 year + with proper care. This hair will last for a very long time depending on how you maintain it. Treat it like your own hair and take very good care of it.

How to Care For Human Hair Extensions?

Step 1
Be gentle. One of the most important things about hair extensions is that you have to baby them. Comb wet hair gently with a large toothed comb, best while deep conditioner is still in hair, without the proper treatment, your hair extensions will get damaged quickly, drying naturally is best.

Step 2
Wash with moisturizing hair care products. This step is especially important if you are using hair extensions because the hair will not get any of the moisture from the natural oils your scalp produces. Moisturizing hair care products will keep your hair healthy. If you are longing for shine, use a serum. Many hair care products that promote shine have a drying affect on hair.

Step 3
Don't forget to deep condition. Once a week you want to deep condition your hair extensions. Leave it on the hair for approximately 20 to 30 minutes and rinse. This extra TLC will give your hair an extra moisturizing boost.

Step 4
Keep those ends trimmed. No matter what you do, your hair extensions will inevitably get split ends. The best way to keep split ends from getting out of control is to regularly trim them. Trim the ends of the hair every 6 to 10 weeks. Keep in mind that you don’t want to trim too much, otherwise you will quickly lose the length of your hair. You can either do it yourself or have a professional trim them.

Step 5
Use a Heat Protectant. Nowadays, just about everyone uses heated appliances on their hair. Whether it's a blow dryer, curling iron or flat iron, they all have one thing in common: they can eventually damage your hair and cause split ends.

If you want to make your extensions last longer, its best to use a heat protectant whenever you use a heated appliance on your hair. This simple step will prevent breakage and keep your locks looking great a lot longer.

Our wavy and curly hair can be straighten and restyled, straight hair also can be curl, but please take your own risk to applying heat on it back and forth, what pattern you want, just buy that pattern directly, we don’t advice you change it on an existing pattern.

Step 6
Combing Hair. Always use a wide tooth comb, always comb or brush hair from the bottom up, small sections at a time. For the tight curly hair best to detangle with conditioner.

What type of hair care products should I use?

Treat this hair just as if it was your own hair. Use good quality shampoo and conditioning products. Conditioning the hair is very important to keep it soft and manageable, so use a good leave-in conditioner. You can also use products like gel and hair spray to keep the curls in place, but make sure to wash your hair and do not leave in these products for more than 2 weeks is possible...

For Moisture & Shine

What causes hair extension to get tangled?

Your Hair Extensions can tangle due to dryness, oil & dirt build-up, salt-water, chlorine and your hair not being combed out daily (best to use a wide tooth comb). It is also best to comb hair from the ends up.

Make sure to wash & condition your hair at least once a week, twice a week is better and use hydrating drop.

Reduce tangling by sleeping with a satin or silk bonnet/sleeping cap, scarf or on a satin or silk pillowcase, this reduces friction and helps hair to stay smooth [See recommended Products below for More Info].

It could also be the hair you purchased, if the hair is Indian Remy Hair or non Remy Hair it is not 100% virgin human hair. So the hair may tangle sooner and not last you as long as 100% virgin hair.

Consult your stylist for more help. If the hair is non Remy Hair and it is not 100% virgin human hair, it may tangle sooner and not last you as long as 100% Virgin hair.

What your Recommendations for Daily Care and Sleeping on Hair?

DAILY CARE
Brush or comb through the hair daily with anti static brush or comb
Comb hair gently to avoid root tension
Finger comb wavy or curly hair
For wavy or curly hair, wet the hair every morning with water and leave-in detangling conditioner. Do not attempt to achieve curls using alcohol-based products
Use styling aids in moderation. Use alcohol free products
Avoid blowing hair dry – excessive heat is damaging to hair extensions

SLEEP
NEVER SLEEP ON WET HAIR
Prior to sleep wrap hair, braid hair, put in silk rollers, put on a silk bonnet or sleep on a satin pillow case.
