Also keep in mind there is no legal requirement for the amount of gold that is ‘plated’ over the base metal. With Gold Filled you're guaranteed to have the same amount of gold with each piece.

How should I care for my Gold Filled Essentials jewelry?

Remember this is real gold....just about everything (perspiration, soaps, etc.) that touches your jewelry can have an effect on it's outer appearance as well as oxidize. Only use true jewelry cleaner along with a soft cloth to keep it clean and looking it's best!
