How long will it take to receive my order?

Hair is shipped within 3-5 business days after placing order. You will receive your hair between 7-10 business days after order is placed depending on your location within the USA. It will take longer for all International Orders. Once items are shipped you will receive a tracking number via email address you provided with the order. All packages must be signed for. No packages will be left on your doorstep. You can also coordinate to pick your package up with your local post office once a delivery attempt has been made. No orders are shipped on weekend or holidays so please consider this when placing your order.

How do I care for my Hair Treasure's Hair Extensions?

Proper Maintenance of your Virgin Hair

Proper maintenance of your virgin hair will ensure longevity, softness and manageability. Please remember this is virgin hair so you must treat it as if it is your own. Once your virgin hair has been cut from the donor’s head it is your responsibility to maintain proper care since it is no longer receiving nutrients to the cuticles. Please make sure you co-wash your bundles upon receipt of it before install. Swish it around in warm water with shampoo rinse very well then proceed to conditioning. Once you finish conditioning air dry completely by hanging and do not expose to the sun or heat. A leave in conditioner is optional. (Recommendation: Hang on skirt hangers to dry completely)

When hair sheds: DON’T WORRY….Please expect some minimal strands to come out. To prevent shedding you must seal your wefts. This should be done before installing. Also keep pulling (running fingers through hair) and combing to a minimum, since these acts promote breakage.

Regular Maintenance:

Always wash your hair at least every two weeks using a mild shampoo and conditioner. Also try to deep condition your hair at least once a month. Before washing ensure to use a wide tooth comb and comb from the tip to the roots to detangle hair before washing. Always wash in a downward motion from roots to tip gently massaging the scalp and cuticles of your hair extensions. Never pile all of your hair on top of your hair to prevent tangling which in the long run causes shedding. Always allow your hair to air dry. Do not braid the hair, pull in a ponytail or put any chemical or grease on your hair while it is wet. Never go to sleep on wet hair. Hair must completely air dry to return back to its natural pattern. You can sit under a hair dryer from time to time but never use a blow dryer to dry hair at the roots. This causes damage to your cuticle which can damage and change texture of your hair. Use a little bit of oil on the ends at least once a week to prevent ends from drying and splitting. Since this is human hair from time to time depending on the weather your hair may frizz. You may also use frizz control on your hair if it becomes too frizzy.
When using heat to curl or straighten your hair always use a heat protectant. Heat can be your hair’s worst enemy, always use a heat protectant to protect the hair and refrain from using excessive amounts of heat on your hair. The more heat you use on the hair the shorter your hair will last. Remember this is human hair and just like your own heat will cause damage without protectant.

Maintaining Dyed or Bleached Hair: Dying or bleaching your hair may cause damage and your hair may not last as long if done incorrectly and not properly maintained. Please make sure to keep your hair conditioned regularly and use a little oil on the ends once a week to prevent hair from drying and ends splitting.
Please keep in mind, cheap lower-quality products and chemicals will damage the hair, and is irreversible. We are not responsible for any customer’s improper maintenance.
