Joining the ranks of the K36 Mikado, we have great pleasure in showcasing our latest American railroad themed t-shirt design. Based on the Union Pacific DDA40X – also known as the Centennial – this class of locomotive was the most powerful diesel locomotive ever built on a single frame, offering a staggering power output of over 6,600 horsepower. Built in 1969, these locomotives measured over 98 feet long and weighed an impressive 247,000 kg.
You can now celebrate your love for these magnificent locomotives with our DDA40X Centennial T-shirt. The likeness of the locomotive has been captured in an abstract vectorgraphic illustration and printed onto our range of 100% ethically sourced US Cotton high quality t-shirts via the latest in printing techniques – we will never print a design to transfer paper and iron the design onto the t-shirt as with cheaper t-shirt suppliers. We take pride in what we provide, and offer a premium product that is guaranteed to make you smile.
One final note about this design: our usage of the livery and logo of the Union Pacific Railroad has not been officially endorsed by the railroad. We have therefore created our illustration to look great on the t-shirt, but upon closer inspection, you will notice that we have deliberately made the illustration appear desaturated and abstract – despite the fact that the entire illustration is vectorgraphic. This ensures that whilst the likeness of the Centennial has been captured beautifully in print, the logos and livery are not exact enough to impose on any registered trademark.

Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

How long will it take to receive my order?
We aim to prepare and ship every order within 2 days, and usually expect delivery to both UK and US addresses to take between 3 and 5 days - dependant on the postal services. If your item should encounter delays anywhere within the production process, we will contact you.
Why are your t-shirts and hoodies more expensive than some other suppliers?
There are several ways to apply an image to a t-shirt or hoodie. We only use the latest technology to print the image directly to the material. Cheaper suppliers will often print to a transfer paper using an inkjet printer, and will then iron the transfer onto the material. This cheaper approach will usually last around 50 washes before it begins to fade. Additionally, our t-shirts are all manufactured from 100% ethically grown US cotton.
