Chicago's Private Life were a band that burned as fast and bright as their music. This four-piece band brought a lighthearted feel to a scene full of hardcore contemporaries, opting to take a straightforward punk rock feel. "Get Me Outta Here" captures their raw energy that is reminiscent of 70s bands - rough and upbeat sonically, and downcast lyrically, all of which culminates in catchy, soulful, and pogo-inducing punk. Times may not be bright, but "Get Me Outta Here" provides the perfect opportunity to say "fuck it" and dance your heart out.
Private Life's 5-track release comes on a pink, hand-stamped cassette with a single-sided, four-panel, yellow j-card. Program repeats on both sides.
