Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Sorry, no, not at this time.
There is no media-mail rate for international shipping and Priority Mail charges for items to other countries are very expensive, require a very long wait time and cannot be insured. That means it is just not worth the risk and hassle to us at this point in time.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Once shipped, most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service.
What are this store's shipping policies?
Most packages will be mailed out using the U.S. Postal Service's media mail rate, and all packages are shipped insured. The insurance is for your protection as well as ours, in the unlikely event that your package is damaged or lost in transit; we try to package items safely to prevent damage, but we cannot control handling once the package leaves here.
The majority of what I have to sell are large lots of comic books and trade paperbacks. Because of their size, my basic shipping charge for these items begins at $5 with each additional lot shipping for an additional $1.
DVDs ship for $3.50 with additional items added for $1.
Paperback novels or small lots of comics (4 or less) ship for $3.50 with additional items in this class added for $0.50.
Most other items I have for sale involve more bulk and will ship at a rate of $7 for the first item with $1.50 for additional items.
I do not include a printed receipt with my orders unless requested by the buyer in order to reduce my environmental footprint.
What do I do if my order arrives damaged?
We strive to package items to minimize the risk of damage, and all packages are shipped with insurance to cover the rare instances when damage does occur.
If you receive damaged items, please contact us immediately. If it's possible, please provide a picture of the damaged items.
Once the damage has been verified, we will issue you a refund for the damaged item(s) and sort out the insurance claim with the USPS so you don't have to.
What is the condition of your comics and other items?
Feel free to ask any questions you have about specific items for sale. We want you to be happy with your purchase and try to be as accurate and forthcoming as possible.
Comic books are typically graded on a scale from MINT/NEAR MINT to POOR, but this scale can often be subjective and I am NOT a professional comics grade. I take care of my collection, so any books I purchased new are often still in VERY FINE or better condition.
Any of the comics I have for sale that are five years old or less, I would consider to be in at least VERY FINE or better condition.
Older books or comics I have purchased second-hand may have some damage, cover or spine wear. I will try to note any such defects in plain English.
