Beards of New Bedford started as an internet rumor in early 2013. Now the name is well-known to the people of New Bedford, MA and the bearding community at large. BoNB holds online beard contests several times a month on Facebook. Founder Joe Arruda with the help of his followers and friends has formed the South Coast Beard & Mustache Guild which hosts real live beard and mustache competitions on the South Coast of New England.
