An original piece from the series “Diagram of a city”, oil on paper, 12 x 30 cm (4.7 x 11.8 in).
A simple geometric structure made by two or three series of parallel lines generates the idea of a city seen from above or from afar, an urban landscape that is at times clear and at times indefinite, where some buildings emerge with precision while others remain uncertain, thanks to the decorative elements, and where sometimes it is barely impossible to understand that these are houses. The addition of shadows doesn’t add thickness and a sense of depth, but creates the effect of a homogeneous texture, as if this was a rich embroidered fabric. Finally, the title suggests the idea that a simplified form of representation could be invented, capable of representing each city with a few geometric elements, as in a sort of diagram.
The painting is signed, and finished with a protective varnish (transparent mastic paint) against the damages of sunlight and dust. A Certificate of Authenticity is included, with signature of the artist on photograph. The painting is shipped in a cardboard box.

Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
I have always accepted and shipped orders outside Italy (US,EU, China, Brasil, Corea, Australia, etc...), and the shipping is always worldwide free!
How long will it take to receive my order?
Here in Italy the bureaucratic requirements for the export of works of art can vary according to the country of destination. Depending on this the execution of an order may take from two to 12 days.
Packaging
I have sold my works on several online galleries (saatchiart, zatista, artfinder, etc). Each painting is finished with a coat of UV varnish to protect against sunlight and dust. The canvases are painted on the sides too, so they are ready to hang. My sold works are never rolled but always packed flat. I put them between two sheets of acid free paper with paper or cardboard protection for the corners, than close in a plastic envelope. The envelope is stiffen with a sheet of polystyrene on both sides, and the whole thing is completed with layers of cardboard. The package is also protected with bubble packaging inside. When sold, the artwork is shipped in 2/12 days after receiving the payment. All my artworks are original unique paintings, signed. The certificate of Authenticity is always included.

To paint has always been the thing that gives a reason in my life. At a certain point of it I understood that it was impossible for me to smother this propensity, in favor of some more profitable job, and this is why I decided to try to make it a possible job, despite all difficulties and lack of money! In a certain sense, this era of uncertainty and change that we all are living, allows us to try to change the lack of security into an opportunity, being always open to accept what can come.
