Women's Work: Suffrage Movements 1848-1965 collects 18 months of comics about the history of resistance and irrational hope that led to the 19th Amendment and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. The book was published in conjunction with an exhibition at the Burchfield Penney Art Center to mark 100 years of the 19th Amendment.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the League of Women Voters for their continued fight for voting rights.
Local orders (Buffalo, NY) will be hand delivered (contact free of course!), select local delivery for a discount (you will still be charged a shipping fee, so the discount is on the original price instead).
I ship/ deliver books weekly on Saturdays, so there may be a slight delay if you order early in the week. If I have enough orders I will make another trip midweek.
