The blood is so dense and cold that it's starting to crystallize. A stone cold gem, in the ominous shape of what in our twisted sky is a waning crescent.
☾ This crescent shaped pendant measures about 5x4 cm (1.87x1.57), it hangs from a clasp shaped with the hunter symbol and it's completed by a black, adjustable, cotton cord.
☾ This necklace is inspired by the enigmatic blood gems, which are an upgrade in the videogame Bloodborne. It's the perfect gift for any Hunter: it can be worn everyday or to add detail to a cosplay. Each blood gem comes in a black handmade paper box, ready to be gifted.

☾ I shaped and sculpted the first crescent shaped protype with polymer clay. I tried to render a kind of organic-crystal structure, since in the game lore these gems are made of blood. The final crescents are made from clear resin mixed with pigments and inks for an ever different final look. I sand and reshape the pendant to give it a more unique and organic look, add the last shades and seal the painting.
