Dome "Dome 1" LP (Wire/Bruce Gilbert/Graham Lewis)

First LP from Wire offshoot Dome. It's amazing how prolific Gilbert and Lewis were to me. Still finding out about new projects of theirs. I mean christ Graham Lewis had a project with CM Von Hausswolff and the original drummer of Anti-Cimex!!! Dome were the atmospheric, (even more) deconstructed take on Wire. Skeletal. Unfinished even. I appreciate interruption....the idea that art needs to be complete is bogus. It adds suspense. "What is on the other side of that sound?" I used to do graffiti in my younger days and would often leave throw ups unoutlined. I intended to come back and finish them, but sometimes grew to enjoy the mystery. Did they get arrested? Did they get shot? One assumes some sort of conflict with art that is skeletal and unfinished, when in my eyes the end product is your mind. Music and art that begin with the artists and are finished in the mind of the viewer. These Dome recordings are their for you all to choose your own ending.
