Black vinyl! Limited to 250 copies! Includes download card. WEIRD SKIN is the first preciously self-titled LP from NYC pop punk band WEIRD SKIN. The 12 typically short and speedy pop punk songs were patiently recorded and mixed by JEFF BURKE (MARKED MEN/RADIOACTIVITY) in the dead of Spring 2018, and mastered by JUSTIN PERKINS (engineer for TENEMENT/Mystery Room Mastering). The band was able to trick guest vocals from both JEFF BURKE and KAIT ELDRIDGE (BIG EYES); the latter also played a killer guitar solo on the song ‘2 Weird 4 Luv’, upstaging all of the actual members of the band. WEIRD SKIN was put together by Azeem Sajid (vocals/guitar), who, along with Chris Grivet (bass), were one half of defunct NYC pop punk band THE STEINWAYS. Azeem has also spent the better part of the last decade as the least recognizable member of perpetually inactive and geographically challenged HOUSE BOAT. WEIRD SKIN also features Patrick Mangan (ex-THE SAFES) on drums and recently recruited guitarist Venu Konda (LUGOSI/LIFECOACH).
