"60 bands in 6 minutes on one flexi record. Sixty projects from Slovakia, Germany, Scotland, Malaysia, Japan, America, and Canada come together to celebrate all that is the current underground. With everything ranging from the extreme electronics from units like Incapacitants & Killer Bug, to the noisecore attacks from acts such as Sedem Minut Stratchu & Hades Mining Co. this comp has it all and then some. This is the result of over a year of planning, organizing, and finally pulling through and getting it completed. I set out to release a record I would be excited to find in a store, excited to listen to both now and down the line. I wanted to focus both on including excellent international acts (Yacopsae, Facialmess, Sissy Spacek) as well as put a focus on the current Ontario scene that I feel deserves to be seen on an international scale (Marion, Ancient Stone, Hello, Deathsticks, Shhh, etc), and also The Nihilist Spasm Band who are both hometown heroes and international legends! I hope I succeed in my goal of having a record that will stand the test of time, and bring enjoyment to the listener however they may find that. Years of listening to noisecore 7" comps such as NOISE AGAINST THE MACHINE, the BLUUURRRRGHHHHH series, TUNES FROM THE TOILET BOWL 1 & 2, as well as countless tapes gathering the best of the best/worst of the worst made me decide that a record like this was a good idea. I had a great time putting it together an it is a real honour knowing other people are interested in it. Each and every band on it submitted incredible material and they all have copies for sale either now or incredibly soon. This was an overall excellent experience, one I will not soon forget.
