How do I place the Industric Loc Gems on?

Enclosed with most orders should be a bobby pin tied to a string.. Use it as a anchor navigating tool.
Make sure the loc you chose is strong//big enough to secure the gem in place. We don't want any unnecessary weight added to your loc for any reason.
dampen your loc (this will help with placement and to avoid pulling hair).
Tie the end of your loc on to the end of the string(not the bobby pin side). Drop the bobby pin inside of the gem opening.(like an anchor) Bobby pin should be dangling out on the opposite side opening of the gem. While holding gem steady, pull your loc thru.... GENTLY twist clockwise to help maneuver your loc thru any grooves or bumps that you may have on your loc.

once the Jewel is set .. you will know as it should not be possible to slide right off to easy.
The loc Gem should hug your loc snuggly, this way while your hair is swaying back and forth it will not loose its shape or slide off.

If the loc gem seems a little loose, simply squeeze and turn with your finger gently, not to much as you don't want to disturb the detail.

Do the Loc Gems vary in size?

Yes size matters, occasionally. Generally, Most of the gems are regular sized and can accommodate majority loc size widths, lengths and circumference. They are all lightweight and will not weigh down your locs.

Can I wear them in water?

yes you can, but with every accessory be mindful of them when washing your hair.
No salt water or chlorine. It may expedite the color chnage of the wire to a rustic color which is cool too!:).

Will they change color? Will it rust?

Color change may result over a period of time to a cool rustic color.

*Please Note: Like any cosmetic piece you want to be mindful of them. Rotating, repositioning, monitoring can spare the longevity of the accessory.

Do they stay on properly?

Yes they do!
Industric Loc Gems fit nice and snug to your locs. Once properly affixed the gem doesn't move or bend.

* It is very important that you place the Gem properly on the right loc and size.

How do I take off my Industric Loc Accessory?

Simple, dampen the loc gently begin turning the piece counter clock wise and pulling down. It should slide off with ease this way.

Please note: Do not tug or yank the piece as you may disfigure the gem and pull strands of hair.

Fun facts to help maintain the longevity of the fabric....

Remove BEFORE any heavy hair oils, sprays, excessive amounts of water is applied to your hair...

Light cleaning with a dampened cloth and soap.sit and let dry before placing back on to your loc. Do not use tissue or any other material that may leave residue on the gem.

Minimize how often you wear it.

No REFUNDS . Please contact us to exchange within 5 days of the delivery of your order. (Any request received after 5 days of the delivery will only be accepted at our discretion.)

All Exchanges must be unworn,unused and in its original condition
Gems that have been worn,used or in unoriginal condition will not be accepted for exchange and will be forwarded back to you.

Once your exchange is received and inspected, an email will be sent for notification of returned item and the approval or rejection of your exchange.

You are responsible for paying shipping costs for returning items, unless it was a mistake on our side (ie. color,print,design etc). Shipping cost are non-refundable.

DEFECTIVE ITEMS***

Items that are defective are accepted for exchange or to be fixed. However, Gems will not be accepted if the damage was a result from mistake on your part (ie. Improper placement caused the gem to become disfigured, rough handling and your gem breaks. All defective claims must be emailed with an attached pic of the defected item.

We sure do!

How long will it take to receive my order?

Once shipped most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 12 weeks.
