Dave and Holly Combs traveled to New York City from Indianapolis, Indiana, to assist with September 11 recovery efforts. While exploring Manhattan during their off hours, they were inspired by the wealth of stickers they saw all over the city. These stickers made such an impact that the Combses started PEEL, the first street-art magazine with a focus on stickers. Documenting the evolution of PEEL from a black and white zine stuffed into plastic bags to a full-size, glossy, internationally distributed magazine, this book examines the development of sticker culture and how the magazine is linked with it. FAQs & Polices

Why Discordia?

It sounds pretty, and very in-crowd. Which really sums up the items we carry since most of it is cute and you have to be in-the-know when viewing our selection of unique artist produced and manufactured art toys.

And we wanted a name that could cover a wide range of goods where nothing would seem out of place and we could achieve maximum variety of art, books, toys, stickers and more.

Why is your Logo and Apple with a letter 'K' on it?

It is the 'Apple of Discord'. The 'K' is for 'Kalliste' meaning 'For the Most Beautiful'. According to myth, it was used to create confusion and strife.

Discordia Culture Shop is an 'Apple Of Discord' in a crass corporate world by helping Creatives reach the public and denting the corporate bottom line as much as possible.

The only rebellion left in a strip-mall world is starting your own business and supporting independent businesses whenever possible.

Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

YES! We ship everywhere on Earth!

How long will it take to receive my order?

Once shipped most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 1 and 2 weeks.

Pre-Orders may take an additional 1-2 weeks. And any special Made-To-Order / Based-On-Orders items may take and much as 3 months for Artists to manufacture prior to being shipped out by us.

Basically, the longer it takes for an item to arrive factors into its value and rarity. Good things to those who wait.

Do you have Wholesale?

YES! We are a Store and a Factory.

Many of our product lines we carry are in-house productions from our studio Discordia Merchandising. [Which also offers custom production to the public. So hit us us about your needs.]

These include Psychological Industries, Pink Nightmare Squad, Apology Girl, Join The Underground and the various one-off products from Discordia Merchandising.
