Urchin Cloak

Urchin Cloak encapsulates the body creating a soft barrier between the wearer and the rest of the world. This design is based on the exoskeletons of sea urchins and other animals with a soft body protected by a hard shell.
This wearable sculpture is made of grey felt, hand dyed satin, and metallic fabric paint in blue and silver. The last image shows Urchin Cloak on a display stand.
