Inspired by a beautiful friend of mine with her two boys. There was a conversation a few years back where she was thinking of getting tattoos to represent her sons and nieces/nephews. Butterflies for the girls, dragonflies for the boys.
From that, and her way to turn almost any situation rather magical, I got the inspiration for this lovely lady, named after my friend.
I wanted to do her wings like a dragon fly and since they are such subtle shimmering things I decided to leave the 'veins' of her wings untouched by paint rather than drawing them in. It kept them very delicate and subtle.

Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Absolutely. If I do not have a shipping cost listed for something you want please email me! I'll figure out how much it would be and get back to you. We're a new store and it can take a while.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Once shipped most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 12 weeks.
What is a watercolor sketch?
Exactly that. Rather than sketching in ink or pencil first the paint is applied to paper. Usually I allow a lot of flexibility and have no idea what the final product will look like. It's a favorite method of mine to constantly challenge myself and I will post video links for you to see the items in progress.
