Heartbreaking and hope-filled, "Knowing Jesus: So That You May Believe" is the bookend to the two-part music project based on the Gospel of John. As the Gospel itself takes the reader through the hopelessness of the Crucifixion—as well as through the joy of the Resurrection—so, too, the music of this album takes the listener on a journey of raw emotion, despair, and triumph. Based on John 13-21, this music is filled with soaring guitars, hammering drums, sweeping synth sounds, and honest vocals (marking this record as genuine and authentic). Lyrically, the songs blend narrative eye-witness accounts and responsive cries of the heart. "So That You May Believe" stands on its own, but is an excellent follow up to Volume One.
