Laffy Meal follows a family as they go eat dinner at the local Burger Clown, each book being told from a different family member's point of view. The down on his luck dad (the burger) just trying to do right by his family, the angsty teen (the fries) with a chip on his shoulder, the single-minded kid (the toy) who only cares about what Laffy Meal toy he's getting, the at-the-end-of-her-rope mom (the drink) who struggles to keep this family together, and the dog (the ketchup packet) who stays behind in the car (window cracked, of course).
With five comics total, each book has a screenprinted cover and is assembled by hand and served up in a screenprinted Burger Clown bag. It's just like a real fast food meal, but better, because it's comics and not nearly as greasy!
Each book is between 12 to 20 pages long and range in size from 2x3 inches to 5.5x3.5 inches.

Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Yes.
How long will it take to receive my order?
It will take me anywhere between two days to three weeks to actually ship them out. Since this is a one man operation, life can get in the way of me getting to the post office as often as I'd like.
Once I drop them off at the post office, it's up to the postal service as to how fast it gets to you.
Can I track my order?
You should receive an email once your order is shipped. At this time we don't offer a tracking service, we just tell you when we dropped it off at the post office.
My order got lost/damaged in the mail, can I get a refund?
Sorry, no. The store is not responsible for lost or damaged mail once we send it off. We are also not responsible if we are shipping internationally to you and your order gets tied up in customs. Basically once we send it off it's in the hands of the postal system.
What if anything else is wrong with my order?
First, check the Storenvy Buyer's Agreement for answers to a few more common questions. If all else fails, use the Contact form of the store you placed your order with.
Hey, my minicomic is a little messed up! The colors are off! The staples aren't even! Etc.
Ghost Car Press takes pride is producing all of our minicomics by hand, and because of that small errors can occur. But hey, that's part of the charm of minicomics, you get that handmade, crafty feel.
We do pride ourselves on producing the finest product we can and make sure we don't send out any sub-par products. But we are only human, and sometimes things slip past us. If there is something MAJOR that is messed up with your order (like cover or pages are assembled upside down, whole pages are missing, etc) feel free to contact us and we can work something out.
I live outside the US, why is the price of shipping so outrageous?
Unfortunately the United States Postal Service has raised it's prices (sigh) again, especially their international shipping prices. And since we're a tiny company that barely makes a profit as it is, we have to charge the arm and the leg that the USPS charges for international shipping. Sorry, The World. It really bums us out too. :(
I live inside the US and I still think the price of shipping is outrageous!
