FAQs & Polices
Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Absolutely!
Shipping charges are the same whether international or domestic, and all shipping charges are based on the weight of the piece, with handling charges added on.
Handling charges are usually 2 USDs, and shipping is either 3 or 5 USDs, depending on how heavy the piece is.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Impatiens Designs ships via United States Postal Service with insurance, First class in most cases. This means that, for the Contiguous United States, items will arrive within a week's time. Outside the Contiguous States, it may take up to 2 weeks.
International Customers:
Your purchase will go USPS First Class Par Avion and will be insured. This means that most countries will recieve their packages within 3 weeks. However, Impatiens Designs is not responsible for customs holdups, so, we're sorry, but sometimes it'll take longer for you to get your pretties.
How are the pretties Packaged?
All pretties are packaged in cute little silver tins on a bed of recycled kraft paper crinkles. Tins all have a sigl placed in the center of the top proclaiming the pretties as coming from Impatiens Designs. Earrings come on round earring cards, and all posts have backs.
All pieces are polished before being mailed out, so they should arrive in sparkling condition.
After being placed in their tins, items are placed in a snuggly-fitting white tuck-top box, on a bed of white tissue, for protection during mailing. All packages include a thank you note, and a couple extra business cards in case someone asks you where you got the pretties. Occasionally, business cards from other crafters and artists will be included, but if you don't need or want them, please just say so. It's no trouble at all to leave the extras out. ^.^-b

What if my pretty breaks? °.°-p
All buyers qualify for the repair/replace policy, which is as follows:
If an item breaks, for any reason, send it back to me, i'll repair it for free, and mail it back to you.
In the event that the piece is completely irreparable, i'll contact you to let you know, and at that time, will let you know of the replacement options.
Most of the time, i can make another item very similar to the original, but it may not be exact.
Do you do general jewelry repairs?
i do, on a limited basis.
i don't solder, so if your piece needs soldering or metal work to repair it, i'm sorry, but i won't be able to help you.
to request a repair, contact me, and please take clear photographs of the damaged piece(s) to send to me. i will take a look at the photos, and tell you if it's something i can do. we'll take it from there.
Do you have animals? I'm allergic to dander!
Impatiens Designs shares a house with 2 cats, which, while they aren't allowed into the supplies, their fur is rather harder to control.
If you have severe allergies, please take that into account before purchasing. i don't want you to have any itchy problems with your new shinies. -*^,^*-
