Slate Silver Glitter Dust This glitter is NOT mixed. All glitters are mixed by VDC, if they are not I make sure to post in the description that they are not mixed. All cosmetic glitters are hex .004 and as always with any sort of glitter or complex shadow, it works best with a sticky base or eyeliner base.

FAQs & Polices

Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

We sure do!

How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders can take up to 7 business days to be fulfilled. Some orders, depending on the distance can take longer than others. We ship with USPS First-Class which can take anywhere from 3-7 days in the US, and 2-6 weeks outside of the US. I always try to ship out orders within our set time-frame, but sometimes stuff can happen in that time and the order can be delayed. I always post on our Facebook page if there will be a delay, so please give us a "like" that way you can also check to see if I have posted about a delay beforehand. Also, sometimes, sadly, items get lost in the mail. Feel free to contact me with any concerns you may have, especially if it's been over a set period of time that your order has not reached you. I would be more than happy to help!

Are all of your products vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes, all of our products are vegan and cruelty-free! :) We never use any animal products, no carmine, no pearl, no beeswax, nothing.

Do you do sponsorships for giveaways, or give away samples for review?

I used to not send out samples for review, and I stand by that. But now I have a blogger package with 7 sample colors for bloggers to review, as well as one full size shadow and one mini for comparison, it's discounted, and the shipping is only $1.50. I do not sponsor giveaways though, sorry to say :(

Why don't you use non-vegan ingredients in your products? Wouldn't carmine make a gorgeous red?

While carmine would make a gorgeous red, and I actually do wear carmine based shadows myself, I do believe that it is hard for vegans to find great pigmented and colored products. That and a lot of my friends themselves are vegan, so when I made the shadows for them way back when, it became a habit! Also, it does help that some people are very allergic to carmine, and would prefer to not worry about what they are buying.

Why don't you want to do a collection based off of this, this or this?

To be completely honest, a lot of my collections come from games/history/geeky junk that I personally have a large attachment to. They're not just inspired, they are part of my life. For instance, I would not do a Hunger Games inspired collection because I never even heard of it until the movie was coming out. I feel that would be kind of odd, making a collection based off of something I didn't know much about. However, my Azeroth collection is based off of not only the game, but my knowledge of it. The inspiration came from playing the game for years and having it be a big part of my life. Being a geek isn't just something that comes out of no where in my head, it's been my life since I was a very young girl playing my GameBoy on my grandmother's porch. So while suggestions for new collections are always welcome, I cannot promise I will do them based on my knowledge of the subject.

I'm applying your shadow, but it doesn't seem to be working for me, any tips?

Absolutely! As always, loose shadows can be difficult to work with for people who have never used them before. I always suggest a good base to start out with, something like Urban Decay Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Insurance, Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy, NYX's Eyeshadow Pencils, Urban Decay's Eyeshadow 24/7 Pencils, etc. There are plenty of bases and primers for you to try out and work with to see how they work with the shadows themselves.

Aren't all indie shadows just repackaged mica and oxides?

Absolutely not! While some companies sell unblended shadows and repackaged micas, I do not. Most of my shadows can take well over 30 minutes to mix for each batch, especially my newer ones. I don't just throw micas together and call it a day, most of them have "layers" as I call them of micas, oxides and bases to make them adhere better to the skin by itself, and blend without fading.

What inspired you to start your own company?

I used to mix shadows for myself, and used to give them out as gifts sometimes to friends as well. That is until some of my online friends in the makeup community kept bugging me and telling me I should open my own shop, we'd joke about the names and eventually it just became a reality! And honestly, this is probably the only job that would let me keep my purple hair.

What is the difference between Full Size and Mini Size?

Mini Size products are about 1 gram of product in a 3g clear jar with no sticker on the top. Full Size products are about 2 grams of products, most of the time a bit more, with a black top 5g jar and sticker at the top for the collection the color comes from!
