The charms are sealed with a fixative to help make them water resistant (but not waterproof, so be sure to take off before swimming or showering!), and covered with a glittery epoxy seal. Clear epoxy seals are also available upon request. By default, the lanyards will come as photographed, but I have many other colored ribbons if you'd like a different. Just leave a note when checking out with your order to let me know!
