Here at Dark Crescent Studio, we quite love our dragons, each and every one. However, we also feel it would be a travesty to withhold such adorable babies from going out and seeing the world and finding a good home of their own. Each baby dragon is custom hand made, hand painted, sealed to protect from wear and tear, and no two are alike. When you order, not only will you receive your randomly selected dragon just for you (or the recipient of your choosing) you will also have the joy of getting to break them out of their own custom made dragon egg! These particular surprise dragons include a mix of earrings, necklaces, magnets, and small figures in THREE different sizes for you to choose from! HOWEVER, we've added all options that allow you to get an original work, including up to a full color 8"x10" painting of your baby dragon all grown up!! This is in a separate listing, Baby Dragon Add ons All dragons are shipped from Englewood, OH and please allow 3-7 days for shipping depending on if you're adding the painting.

FAQs & Polices

Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

Unfortunately, due to multiple issues with the postal services, I am unable to accept orders outside of the US without prior notice and discussion of shipping rates to calculate actual shipping costs. It had been set to USPS flat rate boxes, however, due to mismatched pricing between in-store and online rates, the shop has been repeatedly overcharged and several issues have occurred. If you are outside of the United States and would like to place an order, please email me at [email protected] to discuss it so proper shipping costs can be calculated

How long will it take to receive my order?

Once shipped most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 12 weeks.

My package appears to be lost, what can I do?

Unfortunately once it goes to the post office, it is out of my hands. Each package goes out with tracking and insurance, and I get my packing slips from the post office directly, so you'll have to get in touch with USPS about lost packages.

I placed a custom commission order. How long should it take?

This question is particularly tricky because it entirely depends on the commission. No matter what kind, initial sketches of the design will be emailed to you for approval where you can ask for any revisions, changes, more specific things, or anything like that before a final product is sent out. The time it takes the revision process is entirely up in the air depending on how many revisions need to be done. Final product finishing time depending on the type of commission (wood, painting, glass) can take anywhere from 5-30 days and then will be shipped out with a notification email stating your tracking number

Where in the process is my commission order?

You can find my commission tracker at my linktree, www.linktr.ee/DarkCrescentStudio which has your order number, first name (no last names for protection) and details about what your order is (and especially for dice how many dice your order has or what kind of d4 and the style you're getting). I update this as frequently as I need to in between orders or steps

I have something that is already that I want you to burn or engrave-can you?

Sure! However, the process for this varies on the product. Smaller items such as favorite glasses, or a jewelry box that you would want engraved/wood burned could be sent to the studio and have the custom work done for a reduced cost (basically taking out the cost of the product). However-larger pieces such as a chest of drawers, headboards, tables, mirrors and things like that I can only do locally (Dayton, Ohio) at this time

What entails the "reserve product/Order your Own" option?

Simple! I only have so many premade products on hand, however I do save all of my designs. So, for any product that is uploaded, I have a listing for the initial product and what I have on hand but you can, in a way, pre-order another one to match. The processing time on these products adds an extra 2-5 days so I can have the time to make another for you, and any more that I make will be added to the existing product list

How are my shipping rates calculated?

Shipping rates are by USPS estimated weight

I want something from ___ show or sports team, and I don't see anything like that?

Fanart! One of the internet's greatest things in my opinion, but for a store- a red tape nightmare. Due to copyrighted imagery and the potential legal issues resounding such, anything that is a copyrighted image such as fan art, or sports logos are only available as commissions. Don't think that the Studio *can't* do something for you, even if you don't immediately see it~I just don't have the money to buy licencing to be able to premake anything like that and not get in potential serious trouble.

I saw you have a payment plan option available. How does that work?

Yes! So the payment plan cannot at this time be done through storenvy, however if you email me at [email protected] or hit me up via the studio's facebook page, I can set you up with a paypal invoice. With the payment plan, orders over $40 can qualify for the payment plan option.

The way this works is payment plans have a 30% non refundable down payment and have a no minimum, interest free pay as you can schedule. Items will be shipped out once payment is made in full. Items will sit in your box until you pay it off and monthly reminders will be sent out to make sure that you still have an active link that you're able to find for the items.

Regarding the Snakeskin in your dice

All of my snakeskin is bought from a fellow dicemaker who works as in reptile rehabilitation and when one of their snakes goes through a shed, they offer it up to some of us for our crafting. Based on the size and quality of the shed that was sent to me, as well as pictures we get to see of the snakes, these are dearly loved and well taken care of animals.
